29a and 30 Beaumaris Road decorated for the Coronation of George VI.

Description:

29a and 30 Beaumaris Road decorated for the Coronation of George VI. These cottages were two up two down premises that were converted from a Independent Chapel in 1832, when a new chapel was built in Wellington Road. Dennis Prosser is probably the little boy going into 29a. The chapel was founded by Mr HP Silvester and was at the westerly end of his property and now Lloyds TSB Bank at 95 High Street, Newport.
