Harper Adams College. Exterior, front. Established by Thomas Harper Adams, who was born in Edgmond, and built on family land. The College opened its doors to six students in April 1901 and consisted of the state-of-the-art Main Building with the significant feature of its own farm on its doorstep, 178 acres of Harper Adams land, along with the family farmhouse, Ancellor House.
