The Wharf Tavern, Water Lane. Also called the Old Timber Inn. Exterior, front. Built c.1800. Now a private house. Exterior, front with patrons outside. Advertises 'Home Brewed Ales' S Firth licensee. Wards - the inn keeping family - also had the timber yard in Water Lane. The pub was closed in 1913.
