71 High Street. A Broadbent & Son animal foodstuff shop and van. Ray Broadbent (left) and T Podmore errand boy (right). W Underhill's first premises were here. The ironworks had a cellar cut out of the sandstone and there was a furnace in it. Subsequently he moved to St Mary Street, and after 1869 to the Waitrose site. In 1900 William Underhill Engineering merged with the Massey Works and the Waterhouses Shropshire Engineering Works.Date: 1920-1930
