79 High Street. Exterior, front. Showing 'London Drapery Store' in 1918; latterly owned by Plants and Taphouse. The windows are plate glass (also known as London glass) and were the first such windows in Newport. The house was newly built in 1740 by Augustine Perrye who bought the land in 1738.
