View of Wellington Road houses on the north side. The houses were built on land belonging to Charles Dixon, the Lord of the Manor of Newport. The land originally belonged to Harriet Barber. Charles Dixon's new 'manor house' is called 'Selwood' and is on the east side of the Free Masons hall.
