Description:

The Barley Mow Inn. 62 High Street. Grade II listed building. Early 19th century fronting on an earlier 17th century timber framed building. There was a shop to the south which had been a cheese factory in 1842. In 1856 was a large vineyard bordering on Bakehouse Lane (now Stafford Street).
