Newport British Legion's Austin Charity Cup presentation. This cup was presented by Randolph Turpin (boxer) to the winners of the Newport & District Darts League annual knockout competition. The winning team was from the Swan at Forton. Cecil Heathcote is pictured on the right, on the back row. A team member, Frank Moss, won the team the cup by checking out on 115. Randolph Turpin is shown on the right; in the centre is team captain Geoff Matthews; on the left is Bill Perry, a friend of Randolph Turpin who ran the Greyhound Inn, Upper Bar.
