Remains of canal wharf west of Pave Lane terminus. Pave Lane was the eastern termination of the Donnington Wood Canal, the basin of which was originally to the rear of the Norwood Hotel. Coal was transported here from collieries owned by the Duke of Sutherland. (Courtesy of Shropshire Mining Club.)
