Description:

Crow Hayes twin shafts east of Lilleshall. Originally sunk as exploratory shafts for limestone, several coal seams where also discovered. The site is believed to be on the north-western boundary of the available coal deposits, Granville Colliery workings are to the south. The far shaft has been recapped with concrete.
