Description:

Willmoor Mine near Lilleshall. Opened about 1857-60. The twin shafts are located close to the canal at Willmoor Bridge where there was a lock and small basin. One shaft has a cone capping, the other is covered in iron sheets. The remains of a 'round house' can be seen centre. Courtesy of Shropshire Mining Club.
