View of Upper Bar. A view looking north towards the High Street. This postcard says that it is of Station Road, but at the turn of the twentieth century Upper Bar was briefly called Station Road. Seen on the left is 9-11 Upper Bar, from the right we can see 2 cottages (42-44) now demolished, the 3 story properties (46-58), then the ex methodist church (60), then The Railway Tavern (62).
